Southern Steel Group (SSG), a leading Australian distributor of structural building materials since 1947, relies on its just-in-time service model to maintain its competitive edge.

The Challenge

To support its continued growth and enhance operational efficiency across its national network, Southern Steel chose to implement a centralised and specialised ERP system for the Steel industry. However, this only operated with Oracle technology. With limited in-house Oracle expertise, Southern Steel needed a trusted partner to design, implement, and provide comprehensive 24/7 support for their new mission-critical database and middleware infrastructure.

In addition to this, the solution also had to cater for additional businesses being onboarded with requirements for hundreds more users to be onboarded.
